The Group Product Manager – Ophthalmology (Retina) is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for the Retina portfolio to drive sustainable business growth, strengthen brand equity, and achieve organizational objectives. The incumbent will lead brand strategy, product lifecycle management, new product launches, and cross-functional collaboration while providing leadership and guidance to the product management team.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Management
Develop and implement annual and long-term brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
Prepare and execute comprehensive marketing plans for the Retina portfolio.
Identify market opportunities and formulate growth strategies based on market dynamics and customer insights.
Monitor competitive activities and recommend appropriate strategic interventions.
Product Lifecycle Management
Manage the complete lifecycle of assigned brands, including planning, execution, and performance evaluation.
Drive recent product launches, line extensions, and portfolio optimization initiatives.




Ensure sustained growth and profitability of the Retina portfolio.
Market Intelligence and Business Analysis
Analyze market trends, prescription audits, IQVIA/IMS data, and competitor activities.
Generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend corrective actions where required.
Marketing and Promotional Excellence
Develop scientific and promotional campaigns aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
Design promotional materials and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company guidelines.
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize return on investment.
Sales Force Effectiveness
Develop product training modules and conduct product training sessions for the field force.
Support sales teams with promotional strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
