Overall Purpose of the Job
The Product Owner for HIS will be responsible for analyzing regional needs and identifying best-fit EMR solutions for clinical environments. You will translate user and client needs into actionable user stories, ensuring the development team enhances the EMR/HIS in-line with industry best practices. This role serves as a strategic lead for product innovation, suggesting creative ideas to optimize the application roadmap while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Innovation:



Act as the Product Owner for EMR/HIS; provide strategic recommendations on improvement areas and cutting-edge requirements to define the application roadmap.
Backlog Management: Develop and own the product backlog, leading refinement sessions to document business and functional requirements as user stories for the technical team.
Implementation Oversight: Provide expert oversight and recommendations to the implementation team during EMR/HIS roll-outs for new and existing sites.
Clinical Workflow Alignment: Design and review clinical needs to align with business goals, working closely with technical and architecture teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.
Interoperability Leadership: Leverage expertise in healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR) to facilitate integration with PACS, RIS, LIS, ERP, or HIE systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a functional solution provider, collaborating with internal teams to optimize user experience and translate technical complexities into clear business languag
