- Analyze drawings and specifications for accurate procurement.
- Apply GD&T; principles in part and process planning.
- Use machining knowledge on milling and turning for effective cost estimation.
- Perform run time calculations and use costing software or manual methods.
- Understand cutting tools, special processes (heat treatment, plating, coating), and material details.
- Manage product cost estimation for machining, electrical, and sheet metal parts enclosures.
- Participate in Recent Product Development (NPD) activities, should costing, and engineering BOM creation.
