What’s unique about this role?

The Associate Database Administrator (DBA) is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the database team in maintaining, monitoring, and administering enterprise database systems. Working under the guidance of senior DBAs, this role focuses on learning and applying foundational database practices, ensuring data availability, reliability, and performance, and gaining the skills needed to manage production database environments effectively.

What will this person do?

* Perform routine database backups, restores, and integrity checks.
* Assist with user account creation,



access provisioning, and security permissions.
* Apply patches, updates, and minor configuration changes under supervision.
* Execute standard operating procedures and runbooks; escalate issues when required.
* Help with data import/export activities and basic maintenance scripts.
* Document processes, incidents, and solutions, and contribute to the team knowledge base.
* Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to troubleshoot database-related issues.
* Monitor database health, performance, and availability to ensure optimal operations
