The Market Privacy Officer is a member of the Group Privacy Office, which is part of Group Risk & Compliance and is led by the Group Data Privacy Director. The Group Privacy Office has a strategic role in keeping TMF Group and the local TMF Group entities in valuable data protection standing, to advise on and monitor data protection compliance and simultaneously support and provide workable solutions for sales, service, and internal support functions.
The Market Privacy Officer (MPO) is a second line of defense role within TMF Group’s Group Risk & Compliance function. The role is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the implementation of data protection across TMF Group entities in its market, considering local data protection laws, TMF current privacy policies/program of TMF Group and the guidelines of the Data Privacy Director.
