Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories during OPD consultations.
- Perform routine and specialized gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams and clinical evaluations.
- Utilize ultrasound (USG) for diagnostic imaging and monitoring of gynecological conditions and pregnancy.
- Manage and treat a broad range of gynecological disorders, including menstrual irregularities, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and pelvic inflammatory diseases.
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including routine check-ups and risk assessments for expectant mothers.
- Perform normal vaginal deliveries under supervision, ensuring maternal and neonatal safety.
- Carry out cesarean sections and laparoscopic procedures (lapro) as part of surgical gynecology services.
- Perform hysterectomies, including both abdominal and minimally invasive approaches.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, radiologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated care.
- Stay current with medical advancements, guidelines, and protocols in gynecology and obstetrics.
- Participate in hospital training sessions, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO/MD/MS in OBGY).
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting ultrasound (USG) scans in gynecological contexts.
- Hands-on experience in OPD management, including patient triage, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cesarean sections and normal deliveries in a clinical setting.
