Legal Associate in a team that provides legal assistance primarily to the underwriting function of the business as well as to AXA XL’s legal team globally. As a Legal Associate, you will support AXA XL's legal department by carrying out the review and negotiation of business-as-usual documents together with assistance in co-ordinating shared workflows and initiatives across the wider legal team, and other legal support activities.

What You’ll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

Reviewing, negotiating and monitoring non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements, assignments of rights, lender endorsements and other legal documents received through a shared mailbox.
Providing support in co-ordinating projects and in relation to process improvement initiatives, both locally and across the wider legal team. Working under the instruction of the Head of Legal - Global Solutions & Wordings Strategies.
Undertaking other legal, administrative and operational tasks as required by the legal team.
Working closely with,



and under the day-to-day supervision of, the mailbox legal team in Gurugram.

You will report to Head of Legal – Delegated & Distribution (UK & Lloyd's).

What You Will BRING

Required Skills And Abilities

Degree level qualification in Law or equivalent.
Excellent written and team-oriented communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to learn new processes, systems and ways of working and to propose new approaches where applicable. Competency in and willingness to use available AI tools is a must.
Robust organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate activities, track actions and maintain attention to detail across multiple concurrent priorities.
