About The Team




The Global KYC and Onboarding Squad is improving Wise's KYC and onboarding experience by reducing three things at the same time:
- Financial crime risk, by making reviews, controls, and decisioning more effective.
- Operational cost, by automating repeatable work and improving how agents handle complex cases.
- Customer friction, by making verification clearer, faster, and easier to complete.

Business Onboarding Verification focuses on business customers. Businesses are not simple identity objects: they are legal entities connected to directors, shareholders, UBOs, authorised signatories, employees, documents, registry data, vendor data, ownership structures, risk signals, and market-specific requirements.

That makes KYB one of Wise's most complex verification domains. It is also one of the biggest opportunities to improve customer experience, reduce manual work, improve control quality, and build better risk decision
