1. Litigation and Arbitration Management
* Handle, manage, and plan litigation/arbitration across Supreme Court, High
Courts, Tribunals, and District Courts.
* Coordinate with zones to track issues leading to litigation and mitigate
risks.
* Maintain records of actions taken and track litigation status.
* Coordinate with external counsels/solicitors and business teams to contest
litigation/arbitration as per strategy.
* Provide necessary data/evidence/support to advocates and brief them on
specific laws.
* Collect data and prepare defense/in-house replies and para-wise comments.
* Seek external advocate assistance with supervisor approval when required.
* Initiate legal action if disputes are unresolved through legal notice.
* Negotiate fee schedules with advocates.
* Coordinate with Marketing Legal Head and other departments for critical
litigations.
* Engage business teams to ensure adequate support to external counsel.
* Work closely with ZLMs and Head Legal to ensure consistency in litigation
strategy.
2. Contracts and Documentation
* Develop and standardize agreements, LOAs,



LOIs, leases, and other legal
documents.
* Ensure business understanding is incorporated in agreements without
compromising company principles.
* Coordinate execution of agreements and maintain turnaround timelines.
* Review drafts regularly to incorporate recent developments.
3. MIS and Reporting
* Timely update and circulate MIS with regular updates on critical issues
and matters.
4. Special Projects
* Initiate filing of trademarks proposed by business.
* Work on special projects assigned by management and Head Legal.
* Disseminate legal updates and clarify interpretations to stakeholders.
* Impart training to business teams as required.
5. Advisory
* Advise business on all legal issues and provide preventive/remedial
opinions.
* Ensure business interests are secured through legal research and strategic
advice.

* Follow up with officers and ZLMs for timel
