Solution Architect / Practice Lead – Retail Digital Commerce & GenAI

About the Role
We are looking for a Solution Architect / Practice Lead – Retail Digital Commerce & GenAI to join our Retail business unit.
This role will anchor solution architecture, pre-sales support, accelerator development, and client-facing consulting across digital commerce, store systems, customer experience, and emerging GenAI-led solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring robust experience in enterprise architecture, Java / microservices, cloud-native solutioning, and retail commerce,



with practical exposure to GenAI / LLM-based applications such as RAG, AI assistants, workflow automation, or agent-based prototypes.
This is a hands-on architecture and consulting role. The person should be comfortable shaping ideas into proposals, building POCs with engineering teams, presenting to client stakeholders, and converting innovation initiatives into production-ready engagements.

Must-Have Skills
Core Architecture
Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture.
Java / Spring Boot / microservices experience.
REST API design, integration patterns, and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform — Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Familiarity with containers, CI/CD, environment planning, and production deployment considerations.
Retail / Digital Commerce
Experience in at least two of the following areas:
Digital commerce platforms such as SFCC, commercetools, Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, Oracle C
