Job Summary

We're looking for a strategic and client-facing Business Manager to own the end-to-end success of client SEO/digital programs at Puretech Digital. This isn't just a project management role — you'll be the strategic voice for your clients' organic growth, blending classic SEO ownership (technical, on-page, off-page) with next-generation search visibility across AI-driven surfaces like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

You'll manage client relationships, guide teams, translate data into strategy, and ensure every project under your ownership is not just meeting today's search requirements but is future-ready for how search itself is evolving.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Communication
Own the client relationship from project kickoff — build a deep understanding of the client's business, products, services,



competitive landscape, and short- and long-term goals.
Run monthly client meetings to review progress, address concerns, and proactively surface new opportunities.
Act as a strategic advisor, not just a status reporter — bring recommendations to the table, not just updates.
Search Strategy – Traditional SEO + AEO/GEO
Develop and drive strategies across local, national, multi-location, and e-commerce sites.
Assess website penalties (algorithmic and manual) and lead remediation strategies.
Guide the team on server-level and rendering challenges — JavaScript-heavy frameworks (React/Angular), Ajax, and crawl/render issues.
Own structured data strategy — schema markup implementation, validation, and troubleshooting (Article, FAQ, Product, Organization, and emerging AI-relevant schema types).
Drive Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — optimizing content to be surfaced in featured snippets, People Also Ask, and voice/answ
