Role Summary:
We are looking for a visionary and seasoned Lead Payment Manager to own the strategic roadmap, scale, and compliance of our UPI payment ecosystem.
This role will drive ecosystem-level partnerships with NPCI, the RBI, and tier-1 sponsor banks.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for UPI products, including Core UPI, UPI Lite, Autopay, Credit Line on UPI, and international expansions.
Collaborate closely with tech, risk, legal, and banking partners to drive timely feature delivery and cost optimization.
Prepare comprehensive business requirement documentation, and risk mitigation frameworks.
Track system health, fraud metrics, and post-launch adoption to drive continuous system upgrades and dispute-resolution mechanics.




Benchmark with global fintech trends to deliver a first-of-its-kind, market-leading digital payment experience.
Key Requirements:
14–15 years of experience in BFSI or Fintech as a Product/Operations Leader, with prior experience in the UPI ecosystem.
Strong understanding of IMPS, PSP models, TPAP frameworks, switch infrastructure, and clearing/settlement cycles.
Proven experience in managing high-volume payment infrastructure and leading cross-functional engineering and product delivery teams.
Hands-on experience in launching a UPI payment solution tailored for a D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) model.
Detail-oriented with solid regulatory acumen, analytical skills, and commercial negotiation capabilities
