Project Description
We are looking for a Strong Senior Python Developer to join a leading investment bank and contribute to the development of high-performance, data-intensive applications.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, PySpark, and large-scale data processing, with the ability to design robust data pipelines, optimize performance, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities
Develop software applications based on business requirements.
Maintain and enhance existing software applications according to project specifications.
Participate in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities.
Propose new techniques and technologies to improve software development.
Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate application functionality.
Complete assigned development tasks within project deadlines.
Follow coding standards and software development best practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when required.




Perform code reviews and recommend improvements to enhance code quality.
Review business requirements and recommend technical solutions to build reliable applications.
Develop coding documentation and technical specifications for assigned projects.
Act as the primary point of contact for development-related queries and technical concerns.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve development issues efficiently.

Mandatory Skills
10+ years of experience in data-intensive Python development.
Proven experience as a Core Python and PySpark developer.
Robust experience with:
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Class design
Exception handling
Parallel processing
Strong knowledge of:
Database connectivity
Data loading
Data transformation
Data calculations
Extensive experience with Pandas and NumPy, including:
DataFrames
Data slicing
Data wrangling
Aggregations
Experience with:
Lambda Functions
Decorators
Vector
