About the Role
We are seeking a Mathematics SME (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on mathematical reasoning, theorem proving, symbolic mathematics, problem solving, educational content, and AI-generated mathematics evaluation.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated mathematical solutions, proofs, derivations, explanations, and reasoning traces across a broad range of mathematical disciplines. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for mathematical reasoning, tutoring, STEM education, scientific computing, and research assistance.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics,



academia, research, engineering, or mathematics education.

Responsibilities
Review AI-generated mathematical proofs, symbolic derivations, equations, numerical solutions, and reasoning chains.
Evaluate solutions involving algebraic manipulation, calculus, probability, geometry, combinatorics, linear algebra, optimization, and advanced mathematical concepts.
Verify formulas, theorems, definitions, assumptions, and calculations using accepted mathematical principles.
Assess AI-generated educational explanations for conceptual accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
Identify computational errors, logical inconsistencies, invalid proofs, incorrect assumptions, notation errors, and incomplete reasoning.
Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in mathematical reasoning, symbolic computation, and STEM education.
Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and cons
