Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results driven Production Manager to lead and manage the daily production operations of our edible oil manufacturing facility in Djibouti. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in compliance with quality and food safety standards while optimizing manpower, equipment utilization and manufacturing costs.

The Production Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement initiatives and developing a high-performing production team.

Key Responsibilities





Production Operations
Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and production resources.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing plans.
Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
Drive productivity improvements while minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.

Manufacturing Excellence
Monitor production KPIs including:
Output and productivity
Line efficiency
Yield
Downtime
Waste reduction
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
