About the Role
Managing and Directing Current Product Projects via the Stage-Gate Process and interfacing with all Required Functions (Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Specialty Materials Commercial Division, Plant Heads and Personnel) to Drive Projects Forward. Feed the Innovation Pipeline with New Ideas and Drive their Execution.

Responsibilities
Focus on New Product Development for Specialty Materials applications in Plastics.
Drive value creation for the customer through technical innovations and solutions.
Manage and direct new product projects via the Stage-Gate Process.
Interface with all required functions to drive projects forward.
Feed the innovation pipeline with new ideas and drive their execution.

Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry,



Polymer Science, Materials Science, Rubber Physics, Carbon Science or Chemical Engineering.
Preferably five years or more experience working in New Product Development with demonstrated success in the carbon black industry or related industry at the customer interface.
Or working for a Plastics or Carbon Black company in New Product Development with general knowledge of plastics, compounding, nanomaterials, polymers, additives and extensive plastics testing expertise.

Required Skills
Technical background in Polymer Science, Plastics Physical Sciences: Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Carbon Science.
Current working knowledge of the customer applications and technology (Plastics), coupled with a strong expertise in Carbon Black, CNTs, Nano-Materials.
Ability to be innovative, design new products and setup appropriate lab or plant trials and solve technical customer problems.
