Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Journalist role based in Mumbai . The Journalist will research and report on developments in India’s jewellery industry, including trends, market movements, design innovations,



and retail strategies. Responsibilities include conducting interviews with designers, retailers, and industry leaders, writing news articles, features, and event coverage for print and digital platforms, and drafting press releases related to IJ initiatives and flagship events. The role involves verifying facts, maintaining editorial standards, collaborating with editors and the events team, and contributing story ideas that align with IJ’s editorial vision. The Journalist will also support live event coverage, including on-ground reporting, social media updates, and post-event summaries.

Qualifications
Solid writing and news writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and accurate copy on deadline.
Experience with press releases and basic broadcasting or on-camera presentation for event coverage and promotional content.
Solid research skills, including interviewing, fact-checkin
