Business Systems Specialist – Forward Deployment Engineer
We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to join our Business Systems team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and support workflow orchestration, business process automation, system integrations, reporting solutions, and applications that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and drive continuous improvement across the SDS organization. You will work directly with customers, product teams, and engineering teams to deliver scalable,
high-impact solutions that address complex business challenges.
The ideal candidate combines robust software engineering skills, customer-facing experience, and a passion for solving real-world problems through technology.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Partner with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Deploy, configure, and integrate applications within customer environments.
Develop customizations, automation scripts, APIs, and workflows to support customer-specific use cases.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to drive successful implementations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers.
Perform solution architecture reviews and recommend best practices.
Build reusable deployment frameworks, templates, and automation to accelerate future implementations.
