Job Description: KDB Developer / KDB+ Engineer
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced KDB Developer / KDB+ Engineer to support high-performance data analytics, time-series data processing, and low-latency solutions within a financial markets environment. The role requires solid hands-on experience in KDB+/q, capital markets data, real-time analytics, and large-scale data processing.
The candidate should be able to design, develop, enhance,



and support KDB-based platforms used for trade, market data, risk, pricing, surveillance, reporting, or analytics use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using KDB+/q.
Build and optimize high-performance time-series databases and analytics platforms.
Support real-time and historical market data processing.
Develop data ingestion, transformation, and publishing frameworks.
Work on low-latency data capture, storage, and query optimization.
Perform performance tuning for q queries, tables, and data pipelines.
Support trade, order, quote, pricing, risk, and market data analytics use cases.
Analyze production issues, troubleshoot data breaks, and support incident resolution.
Work with upstream and downstream systems to manage data flows and dependencies.
Partner with trading, risk, operations, QA, and technology teams to deliver solutions.
