Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

The Lead Buyer – Balance of Plant is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for BoP packages, ensuring cost competitiveness, timely delivery, quality compliance, and alignment with project and organizational objectives. The role requires robust commercial acumen, supplier management expertise, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, projects, quality, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing





Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Balance of Plant categories (Mechanical packages like Lub oil systems, Hydraulic systems, valves, gear boxes, couplings, silencers, enclosures and other mechanical auxiliaries.)
Lead supplier identification, evaluation, qualification, and onboarding processes.
Conduct market analysis and cost benchmarking to ensure competitive sourcing.

Commercial & Contract Management

Lead techno-commercial evaluations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual clauses.
Finalize purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies and delegated authority.
Manage contract amendments, claims, and dispute resolution related to suppliers.

Project Procurement Support

Work closely with project management teams to align procurement plans with project schedules and milestones.
Ensure timely procurement of BoP items to support project execution and avoid delays.
