Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Competitive Pricing plays a critical role in shaping how Teradata competes in the market. This role is anchored in deep competitive pricing research that directly feeds into pricing analysis, recommendations, and approval — and extends that intelligence into field enablement that equips Sales and Deal Desk to compete and win on price.

Sitting within Teradata’s Product Marketing team, you will support the Pricing & Packaging team and will partner closely with Product Management, Competitive Intelligence, Product Marketing, Sales,



and Deal Desk to build a fact-based view of competitor pricing — and translate those insights into actionable recommendations, pricing decisions, and field-ready tools.

This is a high-visibility role that directly influences pricing strategy, pricing approvals, deal execution, and competitive positioning.

What You Will Do

Competitive Pricing Research

Conduct structured competitive pricing analysis across cloud data platform, analytics, and AI competitors — covering list prices, discount patterns, packaging models, and consumption-based pricing structures.
Build and maintain a competitive pricing intelligence database that serves as the authoritative source of record for Pricing & Packaging, Product Marketing, and Competitive Intelligence teams — including list prices, discount patterns, packaging models, and TCO benchmarks.
