Job Description
8+ years of experience in new product development of thermal management products such as Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), Liquid Cooling Systems, Chillers, Precision Cooling Units, CRAC/CRAH, Heat Exchangers, and Data Center Cooling Solutions.
Lead end-to-end product development activities from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and project schedules.
Demonstrated experience in leading global cross-functional engineering teams involving mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and service functions.
Robust understanding of Product Development Processes (Stage-Gate/NPDI) and experience driving product release readiness through multidisciplinary collaboration across global regions.
Own and review key product development deliverables including requirements management, product architecture, CAD models, drawings, BOMs, DFMEA/PFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFX, verification plans, compliance documentation, and Gate Review deliverables.
Drive technical decision-making and problem resolution through design reviews, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and implementation of engineering improvements to enhance product performance, manufacturability, reliability, quality, and cost competitiveness.
Experience in thermal-hydraulic system design, architecture development, prototype build, product validation, pilot production, and product launch activities.
Strong knowledge of component selection, sizing, integration, and optimization including pumps, heat exchangers, valves, sensors, reservoirs, piping systems, filtration systems, controls, and liquid cooling distribution networks.
Hands-on experience with thermal analysis, fluid flow calculations, system pressure drop analysis, heat load calculations, and performance validation testing.
Familiarity with applicable industry standards and compliance requirements related to data center liquid cooling
