Accounting & Auditing Standards: Solid accounting concepts and understanding of accounting standards, audit procedures, and financial statement analysis
Internal control – Good understanding of internal control framework, SOX compliaces
System Proficiency: Practical experience with accounting software like SAP
Advanced Excel: Ability to use Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and keyboard shortcuts, which are crucial for working with large datasets
Soft Skills:
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication (especially email etiquette) for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data, spot discrepancies, and think critically.
