Job Title: Planning Scheduler
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with solid expertise in project scheduling and controls for high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end planning, monitoring, delay analysis, and coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and monitoring using Primavera P6 (mandatory).
Develop and maintain baseline schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and perform resource and cost loading.
Track project progress, identify delays, and prepare recovery and mitigation plans.
Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) and proactively identify project risks.
Coordinate with site, procurement, and design teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Review and validate contractor baseline schedules and progress reports.
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and weekly/monthly progress updates.
Conduct Extension of Time (EOT) analysis and support claims management.
Develop and maintain risk registers and recommend mitigation strategies.
Drive effective project planning strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Key Skills Required
Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (mandatory)
Sound knowledge of project controls, resource planning, and cost control
Proficiency in delay analysis techniques (EOT, TIA, etc.)
Good understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies (high-rise projects)
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Strong coordination, communication, and leadership abilities
Educational Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management / High-Rise Construction (NICMAR preferred)
MBA in Construction Management (preferred)
Experience Required
Relevant experience in high-rise building construction projects
Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and delay analysis
