Core duties typically include:
Site Management & Logistics: Planning the physical layout of a construction site, ensuring heavy equipment is properly utilized, and directing work crews.
Project Execution & Scheduling: Monitoring daily construction activities to hit established milestones. They troubleshoot any in office delays and ensure the project remains within budget.
Safety & Compliance: Enforcing strict building codes and safety regulations and designing temporary structures (like scaffolding or trench supports) needed during the building process.
Material Testing & Quality Control: Testing soil, concrete, and water quality, and verifying that all materials and structural work meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability.




Collaborate with teams to ensure construction plans meet technical requirements.
Oversee the selection and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with India's safety regulations and quality standards.
Review and approve project documentation, change orders, and payment requests.
Resolve construction-related issues and conflicts, providing timely and effective solutions.
Stay updated on industry best practices, construction technologies, and safety regulations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
5+ years of demonstrable experience as a construction or civil engineer.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations in India.
Proficiency in project management software and construction-related tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams.
