Role: Shift In-charge - Production (Battery Assembly)

About the Team and the Role:
The Production team at Ather is responsible for leading and aligning shift members to achieve key performance indicators under the SQCDM pillars, ensuring seamless battery manufacturing operations.
This role is for a Shift In-charge - Battery & Box Build who will align 3M resources to meet daily operational goals, plan on-the-job training for associate multiskilling, and maintain a performance-oriented work setting.

Responsibilities:
Lead the production team to achieve daily targets and KPIs across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (SQCDM).
Plan and execute multiskilling through OJT to ensure right-skilled personnel are deployed at all workstations.
Align 3M resources to meet daily operational goals and take corrective actions whenever KPIs deviate from targets.




Ensure 100% adherence to all operational standards and maintain high production line hygiene through proper 5S.
Manage the recruitment of associates as per the production plan and provide performance counseling based on defined criteria.
Maintain audit readiness for internal process and stock audits as well as external ISO certifications.
Coordinate change management processes (MQ1, SOR, DAP) and collaborate with Spec Ops to implement containment actions.
Manage team grievances, improve competency frameworks, and drive continuous improvement through Kaizens and circle events.

Experience and Qualifications:
B.tech in any stream
3-7 years of relevant experience

Must Have Competencies:
Execute expert-level people management to lead and align the entire production team during shifts.
Utilize advanced presentation and communication skills to share relevant information and updates with stakeholders.
