JD for Associate Tech Lead:

Job Summary: This position will provide design support for product development in the field of HVAC and Refrigeration products for Trane Technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Support Design Engineering projects independently.



Take project ownership and collaborate with other design team members to deliver the project expectations.
- Solid focus on sheet metal part design, plastic part design, and tubing design. Prepare concept designs, and detailed drawings as required.
- Idea generation and Feasibility study on VAVE projects.
- Reverse engineering capability and support teardown activities
- Prepare/maintenance of Engineering documentation, bill of material and change notices through Teamcenter and windchill.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams and project partners.
- Provides design support for current production parts and products.
- Create and develop DFMEA and DVPN&R.;
- Commit to deliver 100% QDC.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8-12 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
