The opportunity

Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. An Experienced Qualified (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

How you’ll make an impact
- Evaluate customer specifications and prepare up to date, optimized product cost estimates for marketing.
- Perform design calculations as per customer requirements and design guidelines




- Support marketing with optimized product configuration and cost for key orders and tenders.
- Create, maintain and update QA plans, components drawings, SOP’s and assembly drawings in ERP and PLM database.
- Support manufacturing to resolve assembly issues and product improvement, processes based on feedback.
- Constantly evaluate feedback from marketing and lead small task-based teams for addressing customer requirements.
- Lead implementation and industrialization of new products and processes as required.
- Improve engineering processes to address manufacturing requirement of engineering information accurately and with speed.
- Responsible for magnetic design of instrument transformers to meet customer specifications.
- Prepare and release engineering information to manufacturing as per production plan i.e. BOM, design sheets, test plans and product drawings as per customer order requirement.
