Position: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Region: Maharashtra & Chhattisgarh

Reporting To: Senior Sales Leadership – Head Office
Experience
10–12 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager (ASM) or Senior Area Sales Manager.
Hands-on experience in managing regional sales operations and leading field sales teams.
Educational Qualification
Graduate (Mandatory)
MBA/PGDM will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve regional business objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize business growth across Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of the regional sales team.
Appoint, develop, and manage distributors while strengthening the existing distribution network.
Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and market penetration across the assigned region.
Monitor sales performance, distributor productivity, stock movement, collections, and market execution.




Conduct regular market visits to review business performance, identify opportunities, and address market challenges.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to recommend growth strategies.
Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and periodic MIS reports for the Head Office.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Coach and mentor team members to improve productivity, capability, and overall business performance.
Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and reporting standards.
