About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio ETL Developer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL development, data processing, data warehousing, and enterprise-scale data engineering solutions. The role requires expertise in Ab Initio development, SQL, UNIX scripting, CI/CD practices, and Agile delivery methodologies to build and support robust, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.

What You'll Do:

As an Ab Initio ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering enterprise data engineering solutions.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality data products.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Ab Initio Graphical Development Setting (GDE).
Analyse and implement source-to-target mapping requirements for data integration projects.




Build and support data processing solutions across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
Develop reusable and scalable ETL frameworks and components.
Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries and database objects.
Develop UNIX shell scripts to automate routine operational and data processing tasks.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI for automated deployments.
Utilise version control systems including Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket for source code management.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and engineering teams to define requirements and evaluate solution feasibility.
Participate actively in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and engineering
