In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and resilient Java-based applications and services
Translate complex business and product requirements into robust, maintainable, and efficient backend solutions
Define and improve backend architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability across distributed systems
Build reusable frameworks, libraries, and common services that improve engineering productivity and consistency
Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices
Ensure application performance, security, observability, and reliability in production environments
Conduct code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and maintainability
Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including clean architecture, design patterns, and cloud-native development
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues,



performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, globally distributed engineering culture

Must Haves:
10+ years of experience in Java backend or full-stack development with a strong backend focus
Extensive knowledge of Java (Java 11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related backend technologies
Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices
Experience designing and building large-scale, distributed, high-performance applications
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous event-driven systems
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms
Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modelling and performance optimization
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
