Qualification : B.E., or B.Tech in Instrumentation & Controls / Electronics and communication.
Skills and Competency : DCS / PLC Engineering – Logics Generation, etc., Understanding specifications & implementation
Experience : 3 to 4 years DCS / PLC System Engineering.
Application Design and Logics / Interlocks implementation for Power Plant Controls and Protection Systems.
Understanding the Process Plant and DCS Logics Simulation & Testing.
Site Survey / walk-downs for data collection and I/O database preparation, database partitioning from Third Party DCS / PLC systems
System Design Review Meeting (SDM), Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) & Cleanup After FAT / Customer inspection.
Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices and Supervision of control system installation, commissioning and start-up
Compliance with internal and customer safety and security requirements and working with internal & external team members / stake holders
