Job Summary
- · Give online medical direction as per the Emergency Medicine Protocols to the ambulance staff / Paramedics over the Phone.
- · Evaluate the Pre Hospital Care Records received from the field.
- · Assessing and classifying the emergencies as per the Emergency Medicine Protocols.
Job Profile
- · Ensure that all equipment is operational and, if necessary, kept on charging mode.
- · Ensure all emergency medications are available and in correct location.
- · Ensure highest level of emergency care without delay.
- · Ensure that all patients are attended to in a reasonable amount of time.
- · Ensure that all formalities in medico legal cases have been fulfilled.
- · Ensure that respective consultants have been informed of their day care admissions and the required treatment is started.
- · Is responsible for attending to patients on call in all units.
- · Will accompany patients who are on a ventilator during transfers in the ambulance
- · In case of complications inform the Consultant and institute emergency treatment
- · Should be well verse with handling following equipment’s:
- · Portable ventilators
- · Pacemakers
- · NIV BIPAP
- · Ensure regular update and maintenance of medical records.
- · Inform the Co-Coordinator Casualty in case of any death or untoward incidents
- · Declaration / certification of death.

Qualification
MBBS + ACLS, BLS
