Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel patients diagnosed with cataract regarding treatment options and surgery
- Clearly explain procedures, lens options, benefits, risks, and costs
- Coordinate with doctors, OT team, and front office for surgery scheduling
- Follow up with patients to improve surgery conversion rates
- Handle patient queries and provide emotional support and reassurance
- Maintain accurate patient records and counseling documentation
- Ensure smooth pre-operative and post-operative patient coordination
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: Optometry
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years in hospital counseling / patient coordination
- Experience in Eye Hospital preferred
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and counseling ability
- Patient-centric approach
- Basic knowledge of cataract procedures preferred
