Snowflake Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Build and optimize data solutions on
Snowflake
.
- Develop effective SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
- Create and manage workflows using
Apache Airflow
.
- Develop Python-based scripts for data processing and automation.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing workflows.
- Document technical processes and follow coding best practices.

Mandatory Skills




- Strong hands-on experience with
Snowflake
- Excellent knowledge of
SQL
- Strong programming experience in
Python
- Experience building
ETL/ELT Data Pipelines
- Hands-on experience with
Apache Airflow
- Good understanding of
Data Warehousing Concepts
- Experience with relational databases and database management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have
- Experience with
DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6- 9 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
