* Understanding of business concepts, business rules, data flow and database
structures of supported systems.
* Develop and deploy EDI and EDIFACT transactions.
* Good understand of end-to-end EDI lifecycle development from Specification to
production installation.
* Ability to provide specification, flow charts and/or pseudo-code for design
of new or updates to applications.
* Robust understanding for the mapping of data elements
* Strong understanding of the compliant vs. noncompliant aspects of data
elements for all transaction sets.
* Easily define and document flow-chart logic and data-flow diagrams.
* Suggest changes and improvement where necessary to aid growth and
scalability.
* Ability to develop and maintain EDI transactions.
* Including 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 867, 870, and 997.
* Ability to map/configure in both ANSI X.12 EDI and EDIFACT formats.
* Ability to map/configure XML, CBXML, iDoc.
* Strong verbal and written communication.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
