Job Summary

The Import Export Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, DGFT requirements, shipping procedures, and timely delivery of goods. The role involves liaison with freight forwarders, customs brokers, banks, government authorities, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth international trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

Export Operations
- Process and coordinate export shipments from order receipt to final dispatch.
- Prepare and verify export documentation such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Insurance Documents
- Export Declarations
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters.
- Track export shipments and provide status updates to customers and management.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, and other export regulations.
- Follow up for e-BRC, export incentives, and export-related documentation.

Import Operations




- Coordinate import shipments and customs clearance activities.
- Review import documents including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Documents
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Verify duty calculations and customs documentation.
- Maintain records of import licenses and regulatory approvals.

Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate import-export records and databases.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
- Handle DGFT-related activities including IEC, Advance Authorization, EPCG, etc. as applicable.
- Coordinate with banks for LC, export realization, and remittance documentation.
- Prepare reports related to shipment status, imports, exports, and logistics costs.
