About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Comic Book Designer
with at least
2 years of experience
in comic illustration and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate should have expertise in creating engaging comic layouts, character illustrations, and digital artwork while leveraging AI-powered design tools to enhance creativity and productivity. A strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual narratives is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and illustrate comic books, graphic novels, webcomics, and visual storytelling content.
- Develop engaging characters, backgrounds, props, and environments based on creative briefs.
- Create page layouts, panel compositions, speech bubbles, and typography for comic publications.
- Produce high-quality digital illustrations while maintaining consistency in style and branding.
- Perform color grading, shading, lighting,



and rendering to enhance visual appeal.
- Use AI-powered design tools and effective prompting techniques to accelerate concept generation and artwork refinement.
- Edit, retouch, and enhance illustrations using Adobe Photoshop.
- Create vector illustrations and assets using Adobe Illustrator.
- Stay updated with the latest illustration trends, AI tools, and comic industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum
2 years of experience
in comic book design, illustration, or graphic storytelling.
- Strong portfolio showcasing comic pages, character designs, and sequential art.
- Expert proficiency in:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Hands-on experience with
AI design tools
(e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Leonardo AI, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
- Robust prompting skills for AI-generated creative assets.
- Good understanding of color grading, lighting, composition, anatomy, and perspective
