Key Responsibilities
- Nursery scouting: Visit nurseries in and around Pune (Katraj, Kondhwa, Saswad Road, Manjri, Uruli Kanchan, Wagholi, Talegaon belts and beyond) to locate required plant varieties against project requirement sheets.
- Quality verification: Photograph and assess plants against specifications health, bushiness, height, pot size, root condition and share photo + rate options with the Procurement Lead same day.
- Rate collection: Collect and record nursery rates for every enquiry.
- Availability statements: Help the Procurement Lead respond to every plant request within 24 hours: what's available now, what needs 2 days, what must be sourced elsewhere.
- Dispatch coordination: Be present at the nursery during loading — count, quality-check and photograph plants before the vehicle leaves; coordinate with transport.
- Pali Nursery support: Travel to our Pali nursery when required — stock verification, dispatch support, coordination with the nursery keeper's daily stock sheet.
- Nursery relationships:



Maintain the contact register of nurseries and growers; flag current nurseries and seasonal availability worth adding to our network.

KPIs
- Requirement-to-options turnaround: photo + rate options within 48 hours, every request
- 100% of collected rates entered into the excel
- Loading-time quality check on every dispatch — zero uncounted/unphotographed dispatches
- Dead-on-arrival / rejection rate on sourced plants: 1%
- Nursery register: every visited nursery logged with contact + specialities

Must-Have
- Agriculture/horticulture background — education or hands-on experience
- Own two-wheeler with licence (mandatory) — this is a daily-travel field role
- Pune-based; comfortable travelling to nurseries across the Pune belt daily and to Pali nursery when needed. Preference for candidates living near the nursery belts (Katraj–Kondhwa–Saswad Road–Uruli Kanchan side) to minimise commute
- Plant identification skills — ability to identify common landscape/indoor
