Hiring: Front Office Conduct Surveillance
Location: Chennai

Experience: 2-6 Years
We are looking for professionals with experience in Market Conduct Surveillance or Trade Surveillance to support front office compliance activities. The role involves investigating surveillance alerts, identifying potential market abuse, documenting findings, and escalating suspicious trading activities for further investigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and investigate market abuse alerts generated by automated surveillance systems.
- Perform Level 1 investigation of surveillance alerts in line with defined operating procedures.
- Use research tools such as Bloomberg or Reuters to gather relevant market information.
- Document investigation findings and maintain complete audit records.
- Escalate suspicious trading activities to Level 2 investigators with supporting evidence.
- Ensure timely alert closure while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and comply with regulatory and internal policies.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Required Skills:
- 2-6 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.
- Positive understanding of Capital Markets and financial products.
- Knowledge of Market Abuse scenarios such as Insider Trading, Front Running, Spoofing, Layering, Wash Trades, and Market Manipulation.
- Experience in Trade Surveillance, Conduct Surveillance, Compliance Monitoring, or Market Surveillance.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar market research tools is preferred.
