Senior Associate Roles & Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting Leadership
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, allocations, and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
- Lead month-end close for large clients (MRR > $7K) and review month-end close for small and mid-size clients.
- Oversee complex accounting processes including deferred revenue, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations, sales tax, and FSA reconciliations.
- Review bank, credit card, clearing accounts, payroll, AP/AR aging, 941 reconciliations, and 1099 reports.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and planning inputs (including Jirav) with complete documentation.
- Manage fiscal year close activities including audit, tax schedules, annual entries, and close checklists.
Audit, Compliance & Controls
- Coordinate and oversee audit and tax preparation timelines, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Prepare and review audit and tax schedules and support auditors with required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Maintain and update all close-related trackers (month-end, audit, fiscal close, 1099).
Client Ownership & Communication
- Take ownership of assigned clients, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
