We are now looking for a Shopfloor Supervisor to join our UPM Adhesive Materials team. This position is located in Delhi, India.
What you will do
- Lead and manage shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the site
- Monitor and enforce safety rules, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions
- Plan and prioritize production orders considering customer needs, timelines, and resource utilization
- Coordinate with customer service and stock control to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Allocate team resources, including staffing, materials, and time, to optimize operations
- Support maintenance prioritization and ensure effective response to operational issues and breakdowns
- Coach, develop, and support Production Operators, including training and onboarding new hires
- Act as the responsible contact during off-hours, including managing emergencies and site evacuations
Who you are
- You have experience in a manufacturing or production setting, preferably in continuous processes
- You have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
- You have strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
- You have knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel) and ideally SAP or similar systems
- You have an understanding of safety, quality, and operat
