Role Description
The Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Akola. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing journal entries. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.



Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, supporting budget tracking, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders to provide accurate financial information and support decision-making.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger management, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation, including preparation of balance sheets and income statements.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar tools) and solid knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and documentation practices relevant to import-export or trading businesses.
