Job Responsibilities: - Check heat-treated parts quality using Hardness Tester, Microscope, and Vickers Hardness Tester. - Perform hardness and microstructure inspection as per customer drawing and specification. - Set and monitor process parameters in heat treatment furnaces (temperature, soaking time, atmosphere, quenching, etc.) to ensure process control. - Maintain heat treatment process records and inspection reports. - Analyze inspection results and take corrective actions for non-conforming parts. - Coordinate with production and quality teams for process improvement and rejection reduction. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality management system requirements.
Required Skills: - Knowledge of heat treatment processes such as Hardening, Tempering,
Annealing, Normalizing, and Case Hardening. - Hands-on experience with Rockwell / Brinell Hardness Testing and Vickers Hardness Testing. - Ability to interpret microstructure under a metallurgical microscope. - Understanding of furnace operation and process parameter setting. - Basic knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatment standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
