We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant ICU Staff Nurse to provide critical care to patients in a multispecialty hospital. The role involves continuous monitoring, advanced clinical interventions, and close coordination with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status using advanced equipment.
- Administer medications including IV infusions, inotropes, and sedatives as prescribed.
- Manage ventilators and assist in airway management.
- Perform procedures such as suctioning, catheter care, and central line care.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures and rounds.
- Respond effectively to Code Blue and other emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and ICU charts.
- Follow strict infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Educate and support patients families regarding patient condition and care.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
Qualifications Requirements:
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with State Nursing Council (India).
- 1 3 years of ICU experience preferred (freshers with ICU training may apply).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
