We're Hiring: Co-Founder & Director Food Safety, Nutrition & Quality Programs

EduGap Foundation | Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh | Founding Team Role

EduGap Foundation is an early-stage Section 8 non-profit working to bridge educational inequality in India through technology, community engagement, and social innovation with a growing focus on food safety and nutrition in government schools and underserved communities.

We're looking for a founding team member to lead our food safety, nutrition, and quality-systems programs from the ground up starting with our flagship initiative, Suraksha Bhojan, a school canteen and street-vendor food safety certification program built on FSSAI-aligned hygiene protocols.

What you'll own:

• Design and lead food safety/nutrition pilot programs

• Build audit frameworks, SOPs, and certification systems

• Drive CSR partnerships and proposal development for this vertical

• Recruit and train volunteers supporting program delivery

• Represent EduGap with schools, vendors,



and government stakeholders

Who we're looking for:

✅ Background in Food Technology / Food Safety / Quality Systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, or equivalent)

✅ Hands-on production/QA experience (FMCG or food manufacturing a plus)

✅ Passion for applying technical expertise to public health and community impact

✅ Comfortable building systems from scratch in an early-stage, resource-constrained workplace

✅ Based in or willing to work from Aligarh, UP
