Position: Senior Process Planner

Department: Manufacturing Engineering / Current Product Development

Location- 3rd Phase, Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru

Industry: Aerospace and defense manufacturing

Working days & Timings Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for designing the process flow for new product development considering engineering drawing/MBD & customer requirements. The role involves working on Aerospace NPD programs independently and adapting quickly to engineering changes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure FAI is delivered as per commitment.

Key Responsibilities
- *Hands-on Experience*: In manufacturing, assembly, and/or testing of aerospace products and strong knowledge of GD&T.;
- *Documentation:* Experience in creating process sheets, tooling, quality assurance, and work instructions as per PPAP requirements.
- *Product Development:* Knowledge of product development phases and NPD processes as per APQP levels along with DPD/MBD requirement
- *Materials and Processes*:



Understanding of aerospace materials and surface treatment such as heat treatment, coating processes and welding.
- *Manufacturing Methodologies*: Deep knowledge of mechanical manufacturing methodologies, including machining and assembly.
- *Problem-Solving:* Strong knowledge of RCCA, 8D process, and experience in designing tooling like jigs, fixtures, gauges, and test rigs.
- *Lean/Risk Management*: Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma tools and methods, including FMEA, control plans, RCCA, poke yoke methods, process capability, Gage R&R;, and SPC methods.
- *Communication*: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage conflicts and changes effectively.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, 2D drafting and detailing, preferably in Catia/SolidWorks and ERP systems for EBom & Routing.
