Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting & Visualization
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports (tabular, matrix, drill-through, and parameterized reports)
- Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Implement data visualization best practices (KPI cards, trend analysis, RAG indicators)
- Optimize reports for performance and usability

2. Data Integration & ETL
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes
- Extract data from multiple sources (SQL Server, APIs, flat files)
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, and loading into reporting databases
- Schedule and monitor SSIS jobs for regular data refresh

3. Data Modeling & Analysis
- Design and maintain data models for Power BI
- Create DAX measures, calculated columns, and data relationships
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of reporting metrics

4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather reporting requirements from business users, QA, and leadership
- Convert business needs into technical specifications
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis

5. Deployment & Maintenance




- Deploy reports across environments (DEV, QA, PROD)
- Troubleshoot issues related to report generation, data accuracy, and performance
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and ETL processes

- Strong experience in:
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Proficiency in:
- SQL (Stored Procedures, Joins, Performance tuning)
- Data modeling concepts
- DAX functions and Power Query
- Experience with:
- Report deployment pipelines
- Data warehousing concepts
- Soft Skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication with business stakeholders
- Ability to handle multiple reporting requests simultaneously
