About the Role

Kalpa Power is looking for a strategic, business-oriented Talent Acquisition Lead to drive the organization's talent agenda and build future workforce capabilities. This role goes beyond recruitmentit requires partnering with business leaders to understand business priorities, organizational growth plans, workforce challenges, and future capability requirements. The incumbent will develop talent strategies, strengthen leadership pipelines, drive workforce planning, and build a high-performing Talent Acquisition function that enables sustainable business growth

Role Description
- Develop and drive the Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives, organizational growth plans, and long-term workforce requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to understand business priorities, organizational structure, future capability needs, and translate them into strategic hiring plans.
- Lead workforce planning, manpower forecasting, budgeting, talent mapping, and succession planning to ensure proactive talent availability.




- Act as a strategic talent advisor to leadership by providing market intelligence, hiring trends, competitor insights, and recommendations on talent availability and workforce risks.
- Lead end-to-end hiring for technical, engineering, corporate, and leadership positions, ensuring quality, speed, and business alignment.
- Build and execute talent pipeline strategies for critical, niche, and future capability roles to support business expansion and organizational readiness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent Acquisition team, fostering a high-performance, data-driven, and business-oriented recruitment function.
- Drive campus hiring, Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Management Trainee (MT), Diploma, ITI, and internship programs aligned with future workforce planning and leadership pipeline development.
- Design and implement robust assessment methodologies, including competency-based interviewing, behavioural interviewing
