Role Summary

Hands-on engineer responsible for ensuring reliable operation of production equipment in a solar module manufacturing plant. Focus on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime, maintain product quality, and support safe operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including stringers, laminators, EL testers, flash testers, framing machines, conveyors, and related utilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic automation issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and trial runs of new machines and production lines.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare-parts inventory records.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance with production to avoid disruption and optimize plant output.
- Monitor utilities: compressed air, cooling water, HVAC, and power distribution; initiate corrective actions as required.
- Support implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S on the shop floor.




- Adhere to and promote safety practices (LOTO, PPE) and escalate critical issues to Senior Engineer until resolution.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 02 years manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical panels, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor maintenance.
- Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial automation; familiarity with SCADA is advantageous.
- Exposure to solar module manufacturing processes (TOPCon, bifacial modules) is a strong advantage.
